I had to glue one of the bats onto its string before I put these out. I had to go out a couple of times to reset timer to work properly. Now functioning fine and very Halloween appropriateThe timer is great to save the batteries. Brightness is good. The shapes/lights could be larger to have a bigger impact bit they serve the holiday purpose at a great price.Love the lights just got them so don’t know how long the batteries will last. Nice timer on off feature. They shut off automatically after 6 hours.Very pretty when lit. Unfortunately one strand did not work.Love the strand and quality of colors/brightness.... super sad it came with no remote and had to assemble tin foil in all 3 battery packs to work because coils didn't even reach batteries. Haven't used them yet to see if timer and waterproof feature works (but I always zip tie a baggie around the battery packs anyway... wish me luck ?These are nice lights but they quickly drain your batteries! It’s not worth it. You’ll constantly be replacing the batteries!Cheap made plastic, you do get three good size strands. The battery compartment is made of cheap thin plastic that is hard to open. When you do finally get it open you end up breaking the thin plastic tabs that clasp it shut. I ended up taping the battery compartment to keep it shut since the decorations are for outside. We did get a lot of rain before Halloween and no water got into battery compartment and I may get a few years out of the lights. Some of the shapes did come off of light strand but they were easy to put back on. If you want something cheap and may last only a couple of years for a reasonable price you found it. I did not have these on every night. Only had them on for maybe a total of 48 hours and had plenty of battery life left.All of the three strings arrived with several of the light covers cracked or loose in the bags, not attached to the cord. They were inferior quality and basically unusable without a lot of work to glue the covers back on the lights. NOT impressed at all. VERY disappointed!I sent these lights to my grand daughter for Hallowe'en and she loves them. She hangs them everywhere, The little pictures on the lights are unique.
