This light set is commonly referred as "retro" because it will remind you of the old fashioned type Christmas lighting that you would use on house or Christmas tree reminiscent of the 1950's holiday decorations. Each classic C9 bulb is 7 watts and made for 120V and comes with a ceramic glass that is remisnicent of old fashioned Christmas decorations. Every C9 bulb is rated for a 3,000 hour life span and will fit into any C9/E17 socket base. We highly recommend purchasing an extra box of bulbs to have on hand to be used for replacements when the time comes (ASIN B004Q6JFBY).
Each set is connectable end to end three times for a total of 75' on one plug! Perfect and versatile for any roofline or outdoor patio application that needs a short length or the ability to have a longer length on one plug. The string is made of a high quality 20 AWG wire and a 5 amp fuse that will stand up to any weather presented and also can be used safely indoors on a Christmas tree.

General Mounting Tips: Always mount the string first before screwing in the light bulbs. For Outdoor Patios; We recommend using "aircraft wire" to use as support cable for a clean professional look. If you choose not to use a support wire then a hanging wire will be satisfactory. For rooflines; Mount along the roofline in accordance with our all in all clips (ASIN B004TNDB2I) to mount under shingles or on gutters which creates a strait secure line along your home.

When lit, the color of these "blue" light bulbs turns to an aqua marine color, closer to green than to blue. I have a feeling it has something to do with the filament emitting a yellow light through the blue glass of the bulb. Otherwise, they shipped well with no broken bulbs, were easy to hang, and looked and worked well. They just aren't blue. Pretty disappointed. Returning them.Beautiful but I found multiple brown spots on my white tree where the lights seemed to almost burn it. They were all where the white colored bulbs were.…….. or I would have given this 5 stars. Is it really that hard to fill all the sockets with lights?These were great, exactly what I was looking for. 2 issues: first 4 bulbs in the 3 boxes of lights I bought were shattered or broken and there are no replacement bulbs which is very disappointing. Second, the bulbs get pretty hot pretty quickly which can be an issue for sure.Beware that you won’t be able to use these outside to light up your whole house. We have a small rambler and needed 4 strands to line the gutters and the fuse kept burning out. Didn’t even think to check the description that only 3 can be plugged in at once…What’s the point? Most people have houses longer than 75 feet….. these are a jokeVery vivid and look super cute. Do get very hot however.we use these every year for christmas abs couldn’t imagine using anything else. they are delicate but that’s why I keep an extra box on handQuality is good but the color we wanted was blue and when lit it was a turquoise color! They should definitely consider showing a picture of what the color will be once lit up. I will be returning them because it does not match our other Christmas light scheme.
