So pretty! I love how they look! I'm using them for a Halloween party, but I think I'll definitely use these in the bedroom in the off season. They hung up great using small command hooks. The cord with the plug-in/AC adapter is about 11 or so feet, a little longer than the height of the strings. But that also starts from the top of the display, only giving you about a foot or so to work with if you're going to plug in going straight down. So, if your outlet is not too close, an extension cord may be needed.The only downside is that I have yet to figure out this remote. I think there may be a delay because the lights will change eventually. The timer function doesn't seem to work though, as my lights stayed on longer than the 2 hour timer I placed. There is a small button near the AC adapter to change the way the lights flash, so not a big issue for me. Just wished the timer setting worked.Overall, for my uses, I love the lights and would consider buying a different color in the future.I'm a commercial Lighting Director and I needed patio lighting to put in the ceiling of our 10' x 20' canopy tent and was surprised to see that this lighting covered the whole area with beautiful bright colorful sparkling light. The remote control works very well from dimming to many choices of lighting options. I'm very pleased as is everyone who sees it. A great choice to do business with this company. Great price and a great product!These are a great value in that they cover a lot more wall space. I like having them set to “steady”. I plugged them into a smart plug so I could tell Alexa to turn them off/on. Unfortunately every time I turn them on, they go back to factory setting, which is to go through all 8 patterns. I tried plugging them straight into the socket (without the smart plug attachment) and it was same result. Every time I turned the light switch back on, I’d have to re-select “steady state”.I wish they would just turn back on to the last setting they were at. Otherwise great lights.They came neatly packed in a box and worked upon plugging in. They are bright, effortless, and exactly what I expected! The remote works when pointed directly at the little power box and you have to be really close and nothing in the way, but it works. I didn’t need the remote so that’s not a big deal for me. These lights are a great value for the money and I’d definitely buy again!Behind my sheers in my room. And, yes far enough they won't burn or dis-color. Love them.The only difficulty is the way they are wrapped they are not straight and tangle with the other string next to them. I took a hair dryer to it to straighten out.The lights were the life of the party!!! They're so bright and they twinkle! Ahhhh! There's remote control functions and you can change the lighting but WOW I am super impressed. So many of our guests complimented them! Definitely 5 stars!!These are much cooler looking than I thought they would be. I love the color and the remote control! They look great for Halloween! So happy!I have this in my office. I love how I can change the brightness to dim and brightest.There's no end connector in the product I received. It also came in a different box (brown, plain) instead of that pictured. I need to connect 3.
