These are beautiful lights, just like the photo.I bought these stone lights for my daughter's engagement party. They were even more beautiful than I expected. Very warm and glowing for the evening party. i definitely recommend to bring a special touch to an event.I had an issue with the light after having them for sometime . I use them as a night light and with the timer on the remote, my batteries last longer. If you’re into crystals and collecting them. You will love these lights. I love them so much, I bought another strand for a birthday gift for my niece. A true Amazon hidden gem!!I was surprised to end up receiving a string with real amethyst attached to it! It makes it heavy, but with the gauge of the wire it drapes nicely and the weight doesn't affect it too much. The ability to dim the lights and set them to a 2hr or 6hr timer is great - brand new batteries at full brightness are too bright to sleep. I haven't bothered using any of the fancy patterns, but there's speed adjustments and brightness adjustments for those as well, if that's your thing.It's ultimately just a string of fairy lights with genuine amethyst glued to it using epoxy resin. It would probably cost you about the same in materials to make one yourself. It uses 3 AA batteries and does eat through them quickly if you don't use the auto-shutoff timers, just as a warning.These are very nice, remote works well to change settings.They're so cute and easy to set up. Remember to get batteries. Don't be like me lol. The remote control works on multiple lines, too. So even if you get 2 or more, you only need one remote. They also have multiple settings, speeds, and brightness so it's great if you want them to do different things besides stay on constantly. Honestly, I have them all over my room and I am really tempted to get more. They do use batteries, but the life for those are pretty impressive. I have used them every night for the last week and I haven't had to change the batteries yet.
