These are pretty. Orange and purple. I love the small and clear wires. There are no lights on the main wire across the top but I didn't need any for my fence which is topped with sparkly garland. They're virtually invisible during the day. I'll do an update if things change. So far so good! Very pretty. ??This are beautiful! These are absolutely beautiful. What a color. The lights are very easy to install, and look great. Each strand has a removable AC adapter. Removing the adapter is how one connects the strands end-to-end. The end-to-end, 2-prong, keyed connectors seem weather proof. (Full disclosure, I live in Southern California. We don't have much weather from which to proof!)The strands are not really 32' long. There is ~8' lead from the plug to the first icicle. So, when you measure before you purchase, 24' is a more accurate estimate. I am able to connect 4 strands in series with no issues. The front and back of my house are each 96' long. I purchased (96' house/32' strand) * 2 = 6 strands (who said there would be math!) I ordered 3 colored strands for the front, and 3 warm-white strands for the back. When the order arrived, there was a white strand in a box labeled colored. Ack! It worked out, however. since the strands were shorter than I expected, The errant white strand completed the back of my house. Unfortunately, being short 1 colored strand for the front, I needed to order more colored strands (and tolerate the ridicule from my neighbors for only having half of the front of mu house lit). I ordered 3 more strands. The 3 new colored strands took almost 2 weeks to arrive. When they did, I again had another white strand in a box labeled for colored lights! Argh! I made the white strand work by putting them on my shed. But now I need to order more colored lights. I don't have much more perimeter if I get another white strand. If you have severe OCD, the colored lights may get to you. The colors are not randomized on the icicles. When hung, there is a row of red, a row of green, a row of amber, etc. My OCD is mild, so I get over it, but I do notice every night. :) Also, there is no random blink as one of the modes. That would be nice.In addition to these lights I would recommend eave clips, 6" Velcro wire ties (to wrap the 8' extension between strands), and smart plugs. The smart plugs have WiFi and enable all of your lights (landscape and Christmas) to come on at once. Cool feature! These lights are perfectly fine, but the “orange and purple” color looks more pink and blue and don’t really work for Halloween. Different colors would work great for Christmas though.I originally bought two sets of the 33' a couple years ago. I chose the warm yellowish color because I think it is more nostalgic, especially when we get snow and the light reflects off that. I take them off every spring, and put them up again in the fall.I purchased two more sets last year, and two more this year to complete the house and the garage. So far they are all still working. The strands seem kind of flimsy, I fully expected some sort of issue or breakage, but I take my time not to catch them on anything etc.So far so good. I'd like to see a thicker gauge wire and coating, but it hasn't been an issue, yet. I think it helps string them up in the cold, they are not as inflexible as some of the other outdoor light strings I have had that eventually failed.I wish they were a tad bit brighter, but that's just an observation, I almost never look out and wish for more light. It is dark out in the country where we live. Also I want more flexibility with the timer, but I'll just purchase a dusk to dawn timer, whenever they come back in stock around here.Looked great during the holiday season.
