I ordered two sets of these for party decorations. 15 of the 16 worked, which was pretty good considering how delicate the string of lights inside the jar are. You do need to provide your own glass jars, but they were exactly as described. The inside of the lid has an on/off button, and there is a light sensor so they will turn off in daylight, hence you can leave them on and they'll charge all day and turn on automatically at night. The lids are cheap, so you have to carefully tighten them on to avoid cross threading and some of the handles were difficult to attach ( just a tad short to wrap around the neck of the jar sometimes). We got pliers out for some of them and there was only one that never did attach securely. They put out a good amount of light and have survived in the rain for a month so far. Really fun for the backyard! I will definitely buy these again!
