These shepherd’s poles are fantastic! You have the option to add the addition hooks, or not, you could add three or four hook sets to one pole if you so desired or use only one set vs two - totally up to you! Also, I did not use all of the stake prongs included for each pole - I didn’t need so many but they are there if I add something heavy on down the road.
