I've owned other aluminum pergola's in the past and this one takes a couple steps to improve their product.First off, let me say the customer service is OUTSTANDING when going through Amazon links. I originally ordered the 10x10 only to determine it wouldn't work in my space as well as the 10x13. Customer Service hustled and got the 10x10 shipment cancelled and sent the 10x13 promptly.Packaging was solid and with only a very minor ding in one piece, I was pleased. Assembly was a bit tedious but I recommend getting the appropriate sized allen wrench attachments for your drill...it will make your life much easier.I love the built on cover which protects the retractable shade when not in use. My old one would collect water and debris which would stain the shade. The belt and two latches to hold the shade open are great as well.I have not secured the unit to my concrete decking yet, but have it tied to the 50lbs planters and it has not moved even during some heavy storms recently.The light kit that came with it is solid and easy to install. I had some bulb issues, but once again, Customer Service promptly sent a full replacement set at no charge. Can't say enough about how good they are!Overall, love this new pergola. Hoping it last a good number of years!
