My second string of lights after a year but that’s only because an opposum accidentally caused it to come down! Great string of lights!I was super sad when I opened the package to find a bulb had been broken in transit. I plugged them in before returning just to check the brightness, and it created such a pretty glow! Would’ve reordered, but my boyfriend bought me a different set!I bought these for my outdoor covered patio, and they were perfect! I added them to a dimmer switch and they worked well in creating a nice ambiance and offered enough light. I wish they would go a touch brighter, but not the worst thing.My only 2 complaints:1 - there isn't a lot of slack in either end for the plugs, so you definitely need extension cords with this product.2 - the bulbs are extremely fragile, to the point me set of lights is now useless. I have broken bulbs just when I need to adjust the height of the lights and they came in contact with the patio siding or the ground slightly. I think I even broke one with my sunglasses on my head once. When they break, they SHATTER into millions of tiny pieces, which is expected with glass... but to the point my patio is a no-barefoot/no-pet zone these days because I still catch the glitter of broken glass despite multiple attempts to clean it up.After additionally losing about half the bulbs in a recent storm, I've decided not to repurchase this light set and look for something more durable.So first of all, I love these lights, they are exactly what I wanted and the glow is perfect for a warm lighting. They definitely light up your patio or backyard and give it an extra spark. They are pretty amazing HOWEVER the one and only complaint I have is that the 100 feet string does not have a connecting end, therefore if you wanted to connect a 100ft string to another 100 feet string, that is not possible. I have a very big backyard so i order two 100ft string and one 25ft string(by the way the 25ft string have a connecting end so that makes no sense to me). Because they are corded electric and the string wasn't able to connect to each other that cause a bit of a problem but me and my husband was able to make it work. Other than that one flaw, the string lights are amazing.Let me say first of all that I am very pleased with the lights I purchased. I only have one negative and 100 positives, but I won't go into all of that for the sake of time. The lights were packed very well and secure to avoid potential damage. They were also very easy to install and hang. The only negative I had was one bulb blew out only after having the lights on for about 10 minutes. To my surprise, I didn't realize just how bright the lights were. As a matter of fact, the brightness was right under the threshold of almost being too bright, but just dim enough to create that visual ambiance under the stars with a chilled glass of wine. I give it an overall percentage of 99% and would recommend them to anyone looking to establish that romantic vibe on the patio!I purchased the 100 light set. They came extremely well packaged with each bulb held in foam cutout, similar to an egg crate. I strung the lights in a large rectangular shape around our patio and pond area with enough left to run a some diagonally from one corner of the rectangle to the other. We put in all the bulbs and then waited for it to get dark. Man was it worth the wait! They provide an even light that is bright enough to see everything but is also warm and inviting and not in your face bright. If you ever watch a movie and they have a backyard party scene with that cool warm yellowy glow, that's these. I just love the look of my yard with these lights.It’s odd that right after my wedding I want to write this review. These are the best outdoor lights I have ever had. This is the aftermath of the party. That is a 10x30 tent with 100 feet of lights look, how bright they are. I bought 300 foot and only used 200 (only have 2 tents) feet of lights. I highly recommend these for any backyard wedding or any event! Good price. You pay for what you get. ??These lights were garbage. The lights that came on the 100 bulb string lights we got, not Mr Beam, lasted a year. We bought Mr Beam replacement bulbs. 15 went out in a week. 20 or so more went out in another week. Called the manufacturer and they blamed it on my string lights. I talked to multiple individuals there, trying to get replacements with no help. They refused to replace. Finally talked to Amazon and they helped me out by replacing them. Guess what. They started going out in less than a week. String lights, maybe. So I called manufacturer again and they said they would only replace once. I said you didn't replace them, Amazon did...you refused. They said it's per product and they resolved it with Amazon. Not valid in my eyes. But anyway. Back to the string lights themselves. I replaced with new string lights, a different brand...and no issues at all. So Mr Beam, you're garbage. Overall trash. Customer Service, bulbs, the worst. That is all.
