I liked that these lights do not dim out. They stay bright blue the entire night. They also work with other lights on in the vicinity. They can be used any time of the year for any occasion or just to decorate an outside area. We used them to highlight our trees in blue, making sure they got enough light in the tree's to work, during the day. I do suggest if you decorate your trees with these lights, go with more than 100 ct. These strings of fairy lights have 8 different modes. Made with copper wire they are very fragile, pulling on them is not recommended because they will disconnect from the light and the entire string of lights will not work.
