I’ve had these for two years now and it’s safe to say that these are amazing! I’ve had them on outside for two years and they show no signs of damage. They were turned on, rain or shine. Storm or excessive heat (I live in central California). Will definitely purchase again once these go bad!Great price and work as advertised, used around our gazebo over the hot tub with a wifi timer and they’re amazing!Have been using these on my back porch for almost a year and I LOVE them. No issues, highly recommendThe only reason I gave this 4 stars was because I had ordered 2 sets and when we turned them on that first night, we immediately noticed the difference. With one set the bulbs were a crisp clear, the other set was more yellow tones. So it looks a little weird together. We didn't realize it until they were hung 20 feet in the air, we were not going to change it.The bulbs are plastic and well made, which is good for our purposes. You get 3 extra bulbs. I would definitely buy this again.... The lines are very sturdy between the bulbs. There is about 3 feet of line to plug into the wall. There is about 3 feet of line to add another light set. If you don't plug another light set in, there is a cap to cover the plugUPDATE: I contacted the seller and within days a new set of bulbs were mailed to me to replace the ones that were different (after understandably showing a photo to the seller for proof) I will upgrade my rating to 5 stars.I received the string lights one day after ordering and immediately set them up on our pergola. During setup, I noticed the bulbs included were incorrect. They were incandescent and not LED. I messaged the seller the same day, a Sunday, and they got back to me within an hour! I explained the situation and instead of going through the process of taking down the lights and returning the entire kit, they agreed to ship me the proper LED bulbs, no charge. I received the new bulbs within 5 days. Big thanks to a good seller. Good product. They seem to be about as waterproof as you can get without paying for something commercial/industrial. Bulbs are solid, would take a pretty good drop to a hard surface to do damage. The brightness is exactly what I was looking for without the additional use of a dimmer.Update-We figured out that the plastic on the bottom of fixture where you screw the bulb in (plastic socket shell), needs to be worked a little to be malleable enough that when you screw in the bulb its electrical foot contact actually touchs the metal conductors and turns the light on... basically you have to screw the lightbulb in quite a bit with out breaking it.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------We bought two of these, spent hours putting these lights up all to find out they don't work. Not even one lightbulb turned on. We tried multiple sockets, tested the sockets to also make sure they were working, we made sure the nothing had tripped. We connected it to the Sunthin Dimmer and nothing. We also removed one of the bulbs to see if it would work on a different socket inside the house and it did turn on. So my guess is faulty wiring. Super frustrating!!!!The lights arrived pretty quickly, and were super easy to install. They come packaged with the light bulbs separate from the string and fixtures, which made it easy to hang around my porch awning. The lights are super bright, and there are a couple of extra bulbs. Overall, happy with this purchase it really brighten up my space >< there was no remote control included with my package.
